Atex-certified suction systems
In explosive working areas, directives require the use of conforming and certified solutions and equipment. Atex zones are defined as areas where an explosive atmosphere is to be expected, whenever a mixture of flammable substances, which may be dusts, gases, vapours or mists, is present in the air.
GGE srl designs and manufactures certified solutions for extraction in Atex zones, such as filters for centralised systems, dust collectors, mobile suction units, suction arms and suction benches.
For a product or plant to be Atex-certified, must be used special equipment such as antistatic filters, 304 and 316 stainless steel structures, automatic cleaning systems and anti-explosion indoor venting.
